Bernard C. Boyd | Bernard C. Boyd learned glassmaking by apprenticing as a boy with
his father, Zackary Thomas Boyd, at Cambridge Glass Company. Years later, he met a chemist at Lornetta Glass, who sparked his interest
in the chemistry of glass. This interest was later passed on to his son, Bernard F. and when Bernard C. was 70 years old, the father-son team
purchased the glass making factory which is now known as Boyd Glass. |
