Jackie enjoys detail work and is a weaver, so she often incorporates hand-woven fabric into outfits for a unique touch. She particularly likes making clown bears because they demand so much creativity and allow the use of fun fabrics. Jackie's bears are made from mohair, alpaca, and occasionally, wool fabric. She doesn't specifically make one-of-a-kinds, but since the fun for her is using different fabrics, buttons, and other accessories, most of her bears are unique.

Arbor bears are mainly sold at teddy bears shows, where, says Jackie, she has found teddy bear artists and collectors to be a nice group of people. "I enjoy meeting them," she comments.
